St183C Convertible Boot Hinges

hi there, can anyone in the know advise me, whether or not the boot hinges are the same on a cabriolet st183c generation 5 as the standard 182 185 etc generation 5's. i'm getting conflicting information as to they are or are not (eBay etc). my passenger side (near side ) one snapped yesterday.

If anyone could advise me or point me in the right direction i would be very greatful.

I dont think they are,Ive had 5 gen 5 cabrios,all have dodgy boot hinges,be very carefull as you will buckle the boot lid corner if they dont go down level,best fix ive had is to remove the hinge and have it welded back together,I also grease yo the hinges to keep them going smoothly,

PS you havnt got a wiring diagram for the stereo,fitting a new one and waiting for the USA haynes manual to arrive!!
