5 Door Auris Door Seals Rattling

anyone had an issue with the front rubber door seals rattling around? i found if i packed some paper in the top corner behind the rubber seal it would quieten down.. i'm wondering if anyone that's had this issue has found a more suitable fix? this car is driving me mad with all it's rattles and squeaks!!! this one is particularly annoying because it's right in my ear constantly rattling away. same happens on passenger side too.

To me it looks like there are signs of the seal perishing.
