Toyota Yaris 62 Reg Battery Dead Door Not Opening

Battery is dead and there is one key hole on drivers side door and key won't open the door. Any help would be really appreciated. Thank you

Procedure for opening car if remote's don't unlock car is on page 619 of owners manual, if the cars Battery is flat then turning the door lock will require more force than you may expect. Turn the key anti clockwise as far as it will turn this will unlock the drivers door only if you have a keyless car then using the emergency key makes it harder as there is less key to lever the lock with.

Well manual is in the car :(. I have tried opening the door with key forcefully but no avail other than slight bend on the key. :(((

Well only instruction on manual before u get in to car to open is using key but key is not doing anything. It does one click it doesn't do more than that and not opening!!!

Finally called RAC. Drivers door lock wasn't working so he had to lift car up and charge Battery and then open the door. He then open the door lock and fix that one as well. Thank you very much guys for all your help. Really appreciate it. Happy New Year !

Lesson for us all there - check your backup unlocking system occasionally.
