No, you can't remap but you can add a piggyback box.

Cheers ill look into the that ... its an 07 reg with 87 on the clock ..It had the radiator replacement during the summer .. I've only had it 2 weeks the more info I know the better thanks again

Hello Craig - welcome to Toyota Owners Club.

The main reason for locking some of the previous threads on piggyback boxes were that they descended into a 'mine is better than yours' merry-go-round.

if you have only had it 2 weeks do you know about the potential head gasket issues on this family of engines (see the Avensis & RAV forums for stickies/threads)? The radiator replacement (not common) worries me slightly as obviously it is cooling related & has me wondering if it was showing signs & was misdiagnosed as a failed radiator.

Unfortunately your car is now out of the 7 year Toyota goodwill warranty for that issue.
