Hi there, could do with some advice to try and resolve the starting problem with my Avensis.

Car has been off road for several months so removed Battery as failed to hold charge anyway and replaced with new Battery just yesterday. Engine turns over but doesn't start, doors won't lock/unlock using transponder keys, drivers door opens using key in door but other doors are locked, power windows not working, not all the dashboard lights are showing as they should?

Thought initially this could be an immobiliser problem but now thinking could be a fuse.

Any advice would be appreciated.

when cranking do you hear a ticking sound?

At a guess, check the EFI fuse, Dome fuse and any other fuses. Look in both fuse boxes - lower dash by the drivers leg and in the engine compartment.

Thanks Konrad I suspect a fuse so will try these first.
