What GC states I have read or have been told as well. I would suggest NEVER DO IT it is not worth the risk.

A more effective way, making sure nobody is close behind you, is to jab your brakes a little harder. Job done.

As above, just brake hard enough to fill the regen bar and go over it should be enough I'd have thought?
