Aygo Gears Can Be 'knock Out' Without Use Of The Clutch?!

Hello Everyone,

I am an Aygo Ice owner (have been for 6 months). I have recently noticed, after accidentally knocking it out of gear without using the clutch, that when in gear they do not seem to be very secure - occasionally usually whilst reversing it will 'pop out'. I can take it out of gear easily without using the clutch (I do not do this as I am aware it can cause damage) - I wanted to know whether anyone could shed some light as to why this is happening? Thank you

If I was you i'd go to your dealer and NOT mention that you took it out of gear without clutch. What is happening should not happen at all, it is very dangerous. By taking it out of gear once wouldent have this damage so dont worry about it. If you say you took it out from gear without clutch they will automatically tell you that you did damage and void its warranty. Can't judge but sounds like a manufacture defect on a 2012 model, assuming it has low mileage.
