New Member Saying Hi.

I've just joined the TOC forum, so thought I'd say hi.

I bought my first Toyota, a 2005 Avensis estate, 2.0 petrol automatic, back in October, and have already put 10k miles on top of the 99k it had. So far I'm delighted with it: extremely comfortable, practical, quiet, and great to drive - especially now I'm getting used to the automatic gearbox, having driven manuals for the previous 30 years.

Previous to this, I had a Volvo V40, a very nice car but starting to have some potentially expensive issues, and also have a Volvo 740 for when I need to move half a ton from A to B (ok, I like big estate cars!). I'm active on the VOC forum, and if this forum is anything like as helpful, it'll be a great resource. Not, of course, that the Avensis will go wrong, being a Toyota... :)
