Notts/derbys Meet

This is the fourth MR2OC Notts/Derbys meet and we would like to invite interested members of TOC to join us on the day. Everyone is welcome.

The meet will begin at 12.00, on Sunday 4th July at Sutton Scarsdale Hall, in Derbyshire. The Hall is in a pleasant setting with a car park and is only a few miles from J29 of the M1, and is very easy to find. There is also a Shell petrol station close to J29.

Directions from J29 of the M1, to Sutton Scarsdale Hall: -

1. Take the A6175 signed clay Cross for 0.8miles, turn right immediately after the Shell petrol station into Slack Lane – signed Sutton Scarsdale.

2. Drive 0.5miles, then turn right at ‘T’ junction, signed Mansfield Road.

3. Drive for approx 75metres, turn left onto Shire Lane signed Sutton Scarsdale.

4. After 1.1 miles, turn right into Sutton Lane sign posted Sutton Scarsdale Hall. The Hall is at the end of the lane - 0.1 miles, and the car park is on the left.

We plan to leave Sutton Scarsdale at approx 1.00pm, and we will convoy to the Woodend Inn (Brewers Fayre Menu) at Huthwaite, where most people usually have something to eat.

We plan to drive from Sutton Scarsdale to the Woodend End via Matlock, but as with the previous meet we will decide on the day which route to take.

At the last meet we had 1 MKI, 1 MKIII and 8 MKIIs. We hope to have a few more this time, we seem to grow by a couple of cars each meet.

Totally gutted that we cant come, cant believe I missed that it falls on 'gala day'.. gotta hit Scotland... beers and BBQ's... Charlene hasnt met my Scotland side of the family!

We will defo be at the next meet!
