Rear Iq Screen Washer Not Working.

Anyone any ideas. Front washers working and it's been a mild day so not frozen. Was initially a trickle, now nothing, but have a feeling it's all going in rear hatch frame, which can't be good. With hatch open tubing is clearly visible at top, but there is a couple of inches play on it, and a small white sleeve on the tubing. The tubing goes in via a rubber grommet, which I haven't removed yet, as the actual washer nozzles are about four inches away in a space no more than a few millimetres thick. I'm assuming there must be a solid plastic attachment to the nozzles which the flexible tubing fits onto, and it's come off for some reason. Anyone know if this is a fact, and how easy it is to reattach and the possibility of it happening again for some reason? If it's that simple I'll do it myself, but otherwise I've no doubt the dealers can do it in about 10 minutes. Is less than 2 years old, so presumably still under warranty. Any ideas / suggestions appreciated. Thanks.

Daft question, but have you topped up the washer fluid?

The pump for the rear sits higher up in the bottle, so when the level is low the rear stops working first. You get quite a bit more use out of the front before the bottle empties.

OR

The one way valve has stuck and allowing all the fluid to drain from the rear nozzle and tubing back into the bottle, try keeping it going a bit longer to see if it comes through?

If it was all leaking out into the rear hatch frame you would notice it coming out of the drain holes and running down the rear bumper.

Thanks Soeley. Was out yesterday so only just tried it and not daft at all. Problem solved just by topping up washer bottle! I can't believe in 18 months ownership it's never cropped up before, but to be honest I am usually fairly organised at topping it up. I do a 200 mile round trip to my parents every fortnight, and try to make sure its full before setting off. Was late getting going Saturday so never checked and the roads were filthy, so it obviously got lower than it ever has before. Thanks for the response. So simple when you know the answer.
