Am tending to agree wiv Rhaines here, on 1 of my previous BM's, a 325, the revs were fluctuating up and down, and it was one of the vacuum hoses on the engine, the BM engines are very sensitive to air hose leaks. Have a gander at all your vacuum hoses first m8.

Throttle sensor ??

Where is this ? Curious... maybe I can play with mine.

Not sure if it will be the same for the tubby, but on mine if you follow the air intake pipe (the one from your filter) to the intake (the big metal bit its attached too) youll find the throttle cable attached to a pully like thing, on the other side of the intace theres a black bit of electrical doffery with a plug/lead joined to it. There are two screws holding it on, and it can be turned slightly in either diredction...mine was set all the way clockwise so to speak, so moved it to the middle and runs much better....

DONT do what i did the first time and take it right off without remembering how it was set, leades to car idling at full chat :o
