Help With Installing A Hands Free Car Kit

Hi

I have just bought my wife a 2001 D4-4 Avensis Vermont and want to install a hands free car kit.

I have looked trough the forum regarding removing the radio fascia etc and got excellent advice.

However I have a couple of queries.

Is the radio mute connection marked on the back of the radio?

Is there a spare allways on power connextor that I can use to connect to the phone unit

hi dont know about the mute wire but it should just be a case of elimination just dont connect it to the red yellow or black wire !! i do know however on my alpine the pink & black wire connects to the phone . and its easy to tell which is the constant live its either red or yellow depending on manufacturer if you have a multi meter or test lamp you can find out in a matter of seconds !! hope thats of some help to you !! :D
