1.0 Yaris S - Can You Remove Original Airbox And Replace With Anything

So i want to fit an induction kit but not wanting a panel filter... obviously these have a sensor in the airbox and i was wondering whether there was some sort of aftermarket fitting kit to allow you to add lets say a mushroom filter? Any help or input will be appreciated.

An induction kit for a 1.0 Yaris will make it noisier. Period.

It will not give any more power. In my view the kits were designed for people who are immature and have more money than sense. I had one once and then grew up..:-)

Sounds about right lol i like my cars loud be it a 1ltr or a 5ltr. My car isnt being made to go fast but i want it to be seen lol (yes i know its a yaris)

I was just wondering if it had been done. I will take the box off when i have a few mins spare and see if i can modify it in anyway.
