136bhp Race-tuned 1.3 Vvti

Guys,

Just giving you a quick heads-up.

I've got a new engine on build for the PSR Sport Yaris Evo2 so I'll be parting with my race-tuned Evo1 engine. It's putting-out 136bhp at the flywheel which isn't too shabby for a 1.3.

I'm guessing that it'll be for sale around September. Full spec and asking price will be published then.

Anyone think that they might, initially, be interested?

Regards

Phil

Beautiful, beautiful car!

I wish I could say yes but I know I could never afford it! :crybaby:

Just out of interest - how much?

My car turns heads, so heaven knows what driving around in that baby would do!

Hey guys,

(thanks, DA.....I love her dearly!)

Difficult to give a price guide now as it depends upon what the 'engine' actually comprises of. That depends on the route we take for the new engine which isn't decided just yet.

i.e. I may sell it as just the engine lump or I may sell it with the TTE Group A ECU, Green Induction Kit and Group A exhaust system all as a full powerplant system.

Price would probably be between 800 and 2000 quid depending.

I'll keep you posted. Thanks for your interest. Why not come along and see her in action before we swap the engine out?

Next event is the Quinton Stages on 10th July (only 6 weeks away!).

It's based in Llandovery, Mid Wales.

Bit of a treck, I know (depending on where you live, I guess) but a warm welcome awaits any TOC members who make the journey!

It's always good to meet TOC peeps, especially Yaris lovers!

Erm 1 question surely u hav been ragging the sh :censor: it out of that??? If so isnt gona b a bit dodgy buyin a half dead engine? Especially if u hav been red lining it loads. (i kno i wld have been)

The engine will have spent around 50% of it's life at redline, yes.

If the engine becomes 'ragged' and 'half dead' there's a good chance that I'm losing competitive advantage.

That's why it's re-built after every 500 miles ;-)

If the engine can cope with a season's rallying, it'll handle even the most rigorous road driving with ease.
