The car may have a D-Cat Badge, it will also have a 5th injector pipe and a 5th exhaust fuel addition injector. If you want you can PM me your chassis number and I will check the parts catalogue for you

Not true. e.g. I had a 110kW/150bhp 2.2 without.

Yes, but there is possible to deactivate DPF in ECU.

In our country, it costs around 230€ and they remove DPF mechanically and help car to understand, there is no more DPF physically :)

my T25 never had a DPF fitted, my T27 does.

In the UK removing a DPF where originally fitted is an instant MOT failure (don't know if there is an equivalent yearly check in Estonia?).

Do they trick the ECU by fitting a piggy back box as my understanding is that the Denso ECU has never been cracked itself.

Yep, there is yearly check when your car is older than 10 years, when your car is 0-10 years old, you mus show your car over 2 years. One thing what they are looking, is engine gas emission level. But properly removed filter wont cause any gas level increase....

As i understand, in UK the MOT is also yearly technical car check?

Is there specific note in car passport in UK that your car have DPF?

EDIT: Some people say, that older than 2006 also don't have DPF installed :/

The parts catalogue is probably the most reliable way. So send it to Devon Aygo.

Not all cars from 2006 have DPF. The early 1AD engines do not have DPF too. So don't guess. Check it with a dealer.

If it's a D-CAT (2AD-FHV) then it has a DPNR  (Diesel Particulate NOx Reduction) which is a Toyota-specific form of DPF.

if it is a 2.2 D-CAT from 2005 as far as I know it can only be a 2AD-FHV.

What is the power output? if you open the bonnet does the engine cover have D-CAT on it with the D in green?
