New 2008(08) Avensis T2 D-4D Owner.... Newbie Questions

Hi All,

I've just bought a 2008(08) Avensis which in the logbook it says T2 D-4D. I've got a few questions so I wondered if you could help?

Is mine classed as a T26 when I'm looking for parts?

Is there a definitive answer to retro-fitting Cruise Control?

I read that Volvo S60 leather seats are a direct replacement for my standard cloth seats - is this true?

On Toyota.tech.eu it's actually described as an Avensis MMC Gen.2 but I think that most here would describe it as a T25 facelift.

Pass. Don't know how Volvo side air bags would interact with the car though although you could always disable them albeit you would be giving up safety. You could always get leather seats from a T4 or TSpirit ...

In either case you would also have to inform your insurance company.
