Yaris Mk2 Battery Connections?

Hi all,

Bit of an odd one but i was just wonder if anything is connected to the Battery terminals as standard on the yards MK2?

The reason i ask is because i purchased a Yaris which had a red cable linked to the positive terminal. This could be for a previous sound system or tow bar electrics (towbar was attached) but i just want to be sure before removing. Cooling fan for example isn't connected this way?

Also, am i right in thinking this little beauty is cam belt free with a self tightening chain?

Yes to all. Red wire is probs from a amp

Make sure you have the radio code before you disconnect Battery lol

Use a Battery saver. Makes life much easier.
