Shock Absorbers Or Not

Hi All,

1998® RAV4. 2.0L. 3 door Manual. 112000 miles.

I"ve recently noticed when driving on a reasonably flat road that when the car hits any sort of bump the rear end seems to move a bit, plus it sounds a little bit clunky at the same time.

Any ideas what it could be.? Could it be Shockers need changing? and if so is it a job an OAP like me could do?

cheers

Those early RAV models had a mounting from the rear diff to body, the bush wears out and you need a complete new mounting, I would check it out

Kingo
