Hello Alexandru - welcome to Toyota Owners Club.

Would have thought the IQ would be more capable of doing this trip than the Smart.

Welcome Alexandru

Hope the trip goes well.

Just out of interest, which do you prefer, the Smart or the IQ?

I was originally going to go for a Smart before I spotted the IQ so it would be interesting to know what an owner of both thinks.

Hi regarding your question which one i prefer of course the IQ, Toyota feels more like a normal car when you drive on the motorway for example, of course i don't get the same mpg like was with my smart fortwo (cdi) but there is more comfort )) and the that's really nice that you can fit 3 people inside the car, and all together it's nice to drive )) around. I ordered a space saver which i carry always with me (yes i have breakdown cover) but sometimes you are in a rush like last time it happened to me ,and i tried the puncture kit which was crap...and waited for the rescue around 50 min...)
