I just want to request pictures of the door and where to unscrew it to get the panel off and fit Speakers in. A few good pictures would be nice, eg. where all the screws are i have to take out, once screws are out which way do i pull, and the actual speaker area.

ill be doing my Speakers in the near future so i can only show you then

for me 2001 model, there are 2 screws to take off first.

one by the handle, the other by the armrest hole part

then turn the 2 "+" screws on the inner part of door, pop them out

the plastic panel will come out a lttle then, then just gently pull the rest of the panel off bit by bit, u can hear it popping out

this then reveals the door speaker :D

nope

bought celica speaker adaptors. Exactly like the triangular moulding that come with the ***** paper speaker.

See the triangular mounting? Well the speaker is moulded to that......

The celica adaptors are separate, u then screw the apeakers to that........

oh! the link gerard gave me, ukno the fasteners....how do you take them off? they jus screw off?

Turn em 90deg, they'll push outwards. Pull em out if they havent allready fallen on the floor!

ok! one last thing! how will i get the wire from my Speakers in the door to inside the car without it hangin out? since mine is the standard yaris

you have to pull the gromit out thats between the door and the A-Pillar

blieve me its a right ballache but worth it when you have done it!
