Handbrake Cable Replacement On T-Sport

Hi all,

Are there any guides on the web for handbrake cable replacement on a t-sport (disc + drum set-up).

Id be particularly interested to know if there any bolts to undo in the car or are they all on the outside on the underneath, as I can see the wire connecting to the handbrake in the cabin (with trim removed) but then it disappears under the carpet...

Do I also have to remove part of the exhaust system to get at the cable?

Thanks

According to Haynes for the 1.0 and 1.3 -so I assume it's the same for the TSport -

Remove console where handbrake is

Remove rear brake shoes (rear wheels jacked up and on axle stands)

Remove cable support brackets at each rear drum

Unclip ABS sensors.

Unscrew first cable support bracket on rear suspension arms

Withdraw cable from backplate

Unbolt support brackets under car.

Unhook cable from equaliser at front.

No need to remove exhaust mentioned.

You need car on proper supports to access underneath (or a pit),,,
