Milton Keynes Last Night

Well people contrary to previous statements, last night I went to my first ever cruiseicon8.gif

As previously mentioned I will avoid them like the plague, but since there was a bunch of us going in an organised Jap convoy, I thought it couldn't be too bad and put up loads for comedy value. And it did :D I am very tempted on posting all the photos I took (mainly of the cars we all nominated as worst on show), but due to club bandwidth and save many of you from sore eyes, I will only post a few that really stood out from the crowd.

This vehicle took many hours and must have cost more than it's worth. A Toyota Hilux (road legal too B) ). I gotta get me one of these - never another hassle with parking or what type of road to travel along... Pure class  (I appologise for the quality of photos)

And then there was this. It made me laugh :D

The event is now properly organised (apparently) and there was a large police presence which we were happy about. We will probably make the Jap convoy/invasion/visist a monthly thing B)

A guy called Joe with a very nice GTR34 (Kit & carbon bonnet) is there every Sunday night. He fits body kits for a living and I think he gets good business from a lot of the muppets there.

We spoted quite a few jap cars parked up that weren't part of our convoy.

Very bling Lexus', quite a few MR2's including a white Rev3 that was done up on a tight budget in a very "strange way" and had lexus badges & logos in place of Toyota (each to their own). There was a starlet GT Tubby, an ICED up RX8, a number of scoobs and a couple of skylines.

There was also an orange Lambo there, but we came to the conclusion it must have been a replica as the leather interior was done very badly and the owner opened all doors except the engine bay. The chassis was too low, too long and too wide to have been an MR2.

There was a Badge in the drivers' rear quarter stating it was a ltd. ed. of 143/150... We still didn't think it were real.

The interior was aweful there are black and orange striped patterns in the leather stitching on the seats. The stripes are uneaven and scew... Not Lambo style... <_<

Nicola (being a super car enthusiast and goes to a lot of shows that suit) reckons every Lambo driver will be very keen on opening the engine bay... but this guy didn't.
