Buying 06-07 Hilux

Hello all!

I'm pretty close to buy a refurbished 06-07 Hilux 2.5 d4d single cab model.

I'm a little worried about the injector problem those car had in the past. I will buy it from a car yard. If a good car engineer check the car i should be okey?

Please what you suggested me people ? it will cost me a lot money and i don't want to have any problems. Maybe i should buy a l200 model ?

if you can go for the 3.0 model then do it, the 2.5 is very under powered

Thanks for your advice, but the diesel consuming will be bigger. Plus it will cost more money that i don't have at the moment.

Does the injector failure effects both 2.5 and 3.0 models for the years 2006-2007?
