(Solution/vid) Is My 5Th Problem The Same As Your 5Th Gear Problem?

Hi Gents,

My car is a 2001 4.2 2.0 Petrol. 100k miles.

So few quick questions, and some pics and vids to help, firstly as per many I had a loud vibration when in fifth gear - started shortly after a clutch change (don't know if that has an impact) and was under load at about 70mph.

(in the end used two on the bottom left corner)

Questions are:

- is this "the" 5th gear problem?

- Is the proper fix to change 5th gear?

- what is the damage if I don't?
