Engine Change - Need Help Please

hi their i have my self a 2006 1.6 vvti avensis with the engaine after giving up on me

im need to know will a 1.8 vvti engaine work in the car ????????

It should work but the ECU may have slightly different parameters.

You can compare part numbers and other differences between the two engines. The exhaust system may have a different down pipe, due to the engine height, but again part numbers will tell you.
