Clutch failure. Or broken flywheel..

Have had this car for around 18 month bought from my local dealership is it possible that a sheared off timing bolt may have caused this to happen as a short while after purchasing vehical my car had to have half an engine replaced due to this happening whilst my car was still under warranty. If this isn't the case as I'm not mechanically minded can anyone tell me how much it would be to repair. Thanks Roy

This could be a failing clutch slave cylinder, check to see if the brake/clutch fluid level has dropped and locate the slave cylinder attatched to the gearbox and check for signs of fluid leaking.
