Shameful

On Sat night I ran out of petrol on the M4, how shameful!! I felt like a right donkey

To make it worse my boyfriend decked his car at a sprint course and was on his way back on the back of a rescue truck!! . So couldnt call on his help as his car was broken.

In the end his brother came and rescued me with some go go juice, and was on my way back, red as a betroot! Needless to say he earned himself a case of Bud!!

:crybaby:

I'm always scared that this will happen.

I've had panic sessions whne I noticed the red fuel light come on and couldn't find a garage.. is scary !

That's the problem with Tubbies .. the'll only do 200 miles and then you have 20 miles to find a Shell garage ..

the design of the tank catches most people unawares. They think economys awsome cos it goes slowly for about half a tank from full, then they dont notice it decreases quicker towards the bottom!

debz, debz!

could always carry £3 of fuel as a backup. i used to do this all the time, infact my 2 is the only car i havent done this in.

at least the fuel tank is plastic and using some nice optimax u shouldnt really be pulling any crap from the bottom of the tank back into your engine, which i think is even worse than the embarrasment factor.
