Daft Question I Know

Evening All,

Daft question...I have a EML code for a Lamda Sensor fault and showing me bank and number. I wondered do Toyota number the banks as you look at engine from the front...or as you are sat in the drivers seat?

Silly but I want to make sure I have the right one.

Thanks in advance

Phil

thought it was( bank 1) default for an inline engine

bank 1 and 2 for a v or boxer engine with two head/manifolds etc would also be good to know if there is any logic in this like for the cylinder head with no1 cylinder is bank 1 or whatever.

also sensor 1 and 2 and so on I have found start from nearest to engine

mostly

sensor one precat

sensor two post cat

but some engines may have more down the exhaust line
