As far as I know Celicas and Supras had coil springs. Toyota only used leaf springs on estates.

If you have one spring for them to work from, Leda should be able to help. A few years ago I sent them a pair of old damaged leafsprings from my Toyota 1000 and they made me a new, lowered set which were exactly right.

Surely any motorfactors can supply a leaf spring for a 1979 Carina (it can't be discontinued yet surely!)

Also have you tried a Toyota Main agent (and don't laugh you might be supprised)

Hi Welshman

A friend of mine regularly sees a couple of Carina Estates in Swansea (a silver one and a white one) is that you? I know Wales is a big place, but there can't be many Carinas left!
