Which Celica ?

hey guys im self employed and im looking for a toyota celica as my next car. i got told the vvti has problems but i got offered a ST 1.8 for £800 i was wondering if its worth it the car has no tax or mot.

but i will be turning 25 in march and want to look at then about getting it as ill have 2 years no claims and 1 accident

but whats a decent model, year to go for in the celica,s ?

IMO, there are three models worth serious consideration given your NCB.

The cheapest would be a late Gen 6, but the 2.0GT is a better buy than the 1.8ST or SR.

A face lift 140 (52 plate on) would be my pick of the range, with the earlier problem of insufficient oil runways in the piston ring area, pretty much resolved.

A face lift T Sport could be included, but do get an insurance quote to get an idea of cost.

Greenlight Insurance are extremely competitive for the Celica, and their customer service is superb.
