My mum just bought a Yaris T3 and wants to know if you can ajust the angle of the front seatbacks, she's tried everything and can't work it out.

hi and welcome

yes you can! lift the small handle thats closest to the door and then push back on it

they are spring loaded so sit at the desired angle and then release the handle so it drops back down

the back will then lock into postition

Hmm.. (Rox's dad here...) - we got the 3dr version. The lever just seems to allow the seat to fold for access to the back seat. But when you release the lever it always locks back to the same angle (which annoys my wife!)

Sorry again for the trivia.....

yeah thats a common complaint with the yaris

just hold the lever up with one hand then position the back to the desired the position and then release the handle

job done

 ok - we just went and tried again, and you're right! I think we were pushing the lever the wrong way! The manual only describes the 5dr version, and it is not obvious how to use the 3dr version! You just saved us a visit to the garage - thanks!

Ros's dad.
