Avensis 1.8 - Cvt Fluid Change Every 40K ?

Hi Guys

I have just bought a used Toyota Avensis 2012 Multidrive 1.8 Petrol. It is a great car..enough power and efficiency as an automatic petrol.

I get 45-48 mpg on my 120 mile daily commute (90% motorway) by driving carefully (60-65 mph unless overtaking).

I need to take it for the 40K service soon..Is it recommended to change the CVT fluid then ? The service manual just says "additional inspection" of CVT fluid at 40000 miles. There also does not seem to be a dipstick for the CVT fluid

Those with the Multidrive.. do you change the CVTF every 40K ?

it's designed to last for the life of the vehicle. Iirc changing it also requires connecting a laptop to the car.
