Hello everyone,

A bit of intro, I discovered this forum when I was handed down a 1999 1.0 GLS about 2 months ago by a friend who was going to scrap it as his insurance skyrocketed after he moved to Birmingham. It had been SORN for over a year and required a lot of TLC. I got it transported to my company's parking lot where I worked on it during my lunch breaks every day. Using the invaluable information found on this forum I managed to start the car, fixed the water leak in boot, fixed the boot lock, cleaned interior of mould and mildew etc etc. I have documented quite a lot of it so will post if you want me to

I have a few issues with the car that I require help with. I don't want to go all out in my very first post so I will restrain myself
