2004 Avensis 1.8 Brake Fluid Change

A few days ago I had my brake fluid changed at a local garage. Since then the brakes don't seem as responsive as before the brake change, it feels like I'm having to push the brake pedal much further down to get a response.

The mechanic who changed the brake fluid only took the rear two wheels off as he said he could access the pipes on the front of the car without taking the wheels off.

Does it sound like there's air in the system?

Do the 2 front wheels need to be removed to bleed the system through properly?

I was sitting in the car pumping the brake pedal as he was changing the fluid.

Thanks

Yes,it sounds like air has been introduced as it was fine before. You have it in a garage and you do the work!!!! He is still doing it manually! perhaps have it done somewhere else with an enclosed machine that will not draw air in?

Thanks for the reply, I'll take the car back to the garage and let them know.
