Sat Nav / Radio Problem. Please Insert Correct Disc

Hi,

I have an 05 plate Rav 4 and a few months ago the Sat Nav / Radio unit stopped working. It has "please insert correct disc" on the screen. It is a Gen 03 unit. I think it stopped working after the car Battery going dead. I've bought a new disk but it is not making any difference.

I've taken it to a garage and no one knew how to fix it so have had months and months of driving in silence

I can see on the various forums that lots of people are having this issue and I've trawled through loads of posts but can't see a post showing how to fix it. Can anyone help?? Please???? :help2: :help2: :help2: :help2: :help2:

No Jamie, I still havn't managed to get it fixed. I'll have another look on here and see if anyone else has posted an answer on another post and if I find out I'll get back to you :-)
