Servicing On A 2005 D4D - No Haynes Manual!

Hi, I tend to service my car and have had 2 Yaris, the first one a 1 litre petrol VVT on an 03 plate, until someone ran into the back of that. I replaced it with a 2005 D4D with now, 89k and a FSH (All Toyota up until 60k). I have a Haynes manual, but, as you all probably know, the Diesel model isn't covered specifically.

I did an oil & filter change yesterday (fuel & air were done last year), but my question is are there any other items to service at this stage of its life you would recommend? As an example (please forgive me!) my other car is an 08 x Type Jaguar diesel estate, and, I have just done the EGR valve on that together with the inlet manifold, which was stinking at 73k !!

Any such items on my lovely D4D? Cheers.

It's 10 years old.

Change the brake fluid.. (and the clutch as they share the same reservoir.

Change coolant for Toyota 10 year long life coolant.

Change the fuel filter..

Check all suspension bushes especially drop links.

Check all flexi hoses, and all engine hoses and clips.

Check exhaust for corrosion.

Check for corrosion underneath.

That will keep you busy for a few minutes..

Edit

You can clean the EGR valve if you want... easy job.. Did ours at 40k miles: not too bad...
