Weights ?

Looking at buying a t sport to build into a rally car and there is one local to me but its a 5 door .. Is there much weight difference between a 3 and 5 ?

Looking at the May 2006 brochure the kerb weight of the 3 door is 1315kg and the 5 door 1350kg

I would not have a 5 door as a rally car, too much flex in the car, better with a 3 door

That's not a lot of difference once the electric window motors is out and all the doors stripped it won't be much heavier guessing everything else is the same ?

How do you work that out ? The side pillars will be stronger and once it's properly caged it should have hardly any flex anyway ?? In my head anyway haha
