New to forum, thought i'd post here for some help.

I have a 20074 Yaris Sedan, and it won't start..

Cranks, but won't start. Check Engine light on.

DTC Error codes P2430 : Secondary Fuel Intake

Car was working fine as of 3 days ago (last time used), went to start it today and it won't start.

Found this error in the Forerunner Service Manual but not the Yaris.

http://4runnerclub.com/i/4r_files/fsm/ToyManuals-2007-4Runner/toyfsrm/07toyrm/07toypdf/07rmsour/4runnerr/0060065.pdf

Should i give the troubleshooting steps above a shot? Was wondering since they were both Toyotas that troubleshooting this should be simliar to a Yaris (with the instructions above from the forerunner service manual)

And the engine is? Petrol? Diesel? Size?

Petrol

1.5 L 4 Cylinder engine.

Its had regular oil changes since purchased (High end Synthetic)

http://www.motortrend.com/cars/2007/toyota/yaris/specifications/

Never had an issue with it in the past, though i did have to change out the spark plugs almost a year and a half ago. Though i never did change the Spark Plug connectors at the time (since i was low on funds)

Going to check under the hood later today (when it stops raining) and its light out

Currently up to 98,000 miles

Update on this.

Car started up today, went out there to test the parts in that PDF file and tried starting it up and it came right up. the ODMB device didn't output any errors this time. Might take it to a mechanic tomorrow to have them give it a once over.

Sounds like : a connection loose /intermittent failing.

You can either do nothing and hope it does not re-occur.

or:

Go around systemtaically removing the ECU connections and , checking connections for corrosion and refitting them. (eek)

Personally I would do nothing until warmer weather - or it happens again...
