Hi
I bought a prius T Spirit yesturday.
Now I know the sat nav works as I have had it working and it seemed perfectly fine. The one thing I have is since I have been trying recently to in put a destination the only option available to press is the map option which I press and it takes me to the map but I can not seem to the access the address option or any of the other ones.

Can someone please help me

sam

Without going out to my car, I am sure that you press the "destination" button which then starts the destination input screen.

Remember that you cannot use postcodes. Input the city/ town first then as you start on road names the system will start to narrow down the names using your letter inputs.

HTH.

thank you for this I will try this again. I feel that I have done this. To be honest I think I have pressed every button on the console trying to do it.

Remember that you cannot use postcodes.

You sure about that? What kind of satnav was it in that model year of Prius?

I own the Gen 2 T Spirit and cannot use postcodes.

I wrongly assumed the OP had the same model.

Sorry for any confusion caused.

Hi, I have a G2 T-Spirit (2007).

You can use postcodes - just not the full one. So you could use (for example) NG14 2 and then have to choose the street and number.

Also, remember the movement lockout - if you're moving faster than something like 7mph, all the screen controls for satnav will be locked out, except rather strangely, the ability to move around the map and "point and click" where you want to go ! Perhaps this is the issue you are running into ?

I didn't realise that you could input part of a postcode.

I'll give it a try, just out of interest, next time I go anywhere.

Cheers for the update.

The lock out was removed in one of the update DVD's, I think about 2009.

I seem to remember the (partial) postcode entry input screen was arrived at slightly differently from just a regular address entry.

I no longer have my T-Spirit, so can't verify.
