Clutch Making A Whining Noise When Pressed Down...

Hi

I've got an Aversis Verso 02 reg.

When depressing the clutch to change gear, the clutch is making a whining noise.

I only get the sound when depressing the clutch.

Does anyone know what this could be?

Thanks

A Faulty Clutch release bearing would be the most culprit

Like has already been said the gearbox has to be removed, i highly suggest you have all 3 parts of the clutch replaced and not just the clutch release bearing, so basically just get the price of a replacement clutch.

Good luck, Mike.

When was you clutch last done anyway?

BTW it's not uncommon for a clutch to continue working for years with a noisy bearing, but similarly it might not.
