Headlight

Hi,

My passanger side headlight seems to have a mind of its own...it will work fine ie full beam comes on etc for about a month then out of blue when lights are put on it looks dull...kinda like just the side light on...then next morning will be on fully lit again no problems...I know it must be a wiring fault ie dodgy connection but I have had the casing off loads of times and cant spot anything...anyone got any pointers as to where I should be looking??

cheers guys...

Chances are it's a dodgy earth connection.

Sorted this...turned out to be the metal connector at the back of the headlight wasnt connected in properly...just needed firmly pushing in....

I can't believe how much work you and Jimlad have done to your motas, yet claim to be mechanically retarded... do you get cheaper car tax or something with that kind of disability? ;) :P :D

If it happens again try turning the toyota Badge on your bonnet the correct way around. Apparently this can cause problems with the headlights and also make your car go slower
