How To Disable Ignition And Injectors On 01 Rav4?

Hi, I have a 2001 rav4 with the 1az-fse engine. The engine performance has severely diminished over time and I wanted to do a compression test so as to get an idea of what's going on. But first I wanted to have a full understanding of what needs to be done and how it's done. Every site I visit states that you should disable the ignition system and fuel injection. Well I suppose you can do this by removing the related fuses from the fuse box. In the box I found the IGN (Ignition) and EFI(fuel injection) fuses. The problem is there's more than one of these. There are several EFI fuses(EFI3 10A, EFI2 5A, EFI 1 20A and EFI MAIN) and two IGN fuses(IGN 15A, and IG2) There's also an INJ fuse at the back of the fuse box labeled INJ could it mean 'Injection'? Also which fuse should I pull out of all of them to disable the Injectors and which one should I pull to disable the ignition. Any help will be much appreciated thanx!
