Hi folks I have a 2006 2.0 d4d avensis and it has started using oil there's 90k on it regularly serviced with genuine Toyota parts and always well looked after but when checking the oil there was very little on the dip stick found oil in air filter and pipes going to the turbo and one pipe coming from engine.i can't find the pcv valve on the d4d.i found it ok on the 1.8vvti avensis but not this can anyone shed any light on this?

Thanks !

Yeah that's all I can find.on the petrol car it comes fresh air in round rocker cover then into the intake or throttle to be burnt off again if I remember rightly.thanks for your reply...its been bugging me .

sounds like turbo seals have gone(is there any oil stains on rear bumper) or oil coming out the back box.

valve stem seals and worn piston ring's can make the car burn oil too.

No oil on bumper or anything. Thinking stem seals too. I'm going to chuck in a can of bg 109 flush and clean it all out and check hoses incase of the rubber being too soft and collapsed in on itself.
