Hi, My 59 plate 1.3 Auris is just coming up to 6 years old, 30,000 miles, does anybody know if it has a timing chain or belt please, if its a belt what is the interval for changing. Thanks, Mike

The 1.33 has a chain

Regular oil changes to the chain in good condition. Good oil condition prolongs the engine life, plus chain from wear.

Can anyone tell me when I should have the timing belt/chain changed on my Toyota Auris, please? I bought her in July 2019, she is a '59 model and has now done 61744 miles.

Your car has a chain and no need to change, just as mentioned keep the car in good order, regular oil changes, use quality oils and filters, better sooner change than late.

The oil was changed in July 2019. When should it be changed again, please?

Every 12 months or 10,000 miles, whichever occurs first.

So if you do less than 10,000 in a year, oil change annually. If you do more than 10,000 miles in a year, oil change every 10,000 miles.

You can, if you wish, change the oil earlier than the above.
