Bloody Bmw Drivers

Once again you have got to complain about bmw drivers. Saturday gone i was invited by my sister in-law to go flying with her boy friend. So i left my car at her house and we went on the 1 hour and a half journey to the air strip. Which was funny enough next door to GoodWood motor racing track!

So we made are way down in a yes you guess it a bloody bmw. On the way down there we where driving along really sensible. Cutting through some country side villages. We ran into some bad accidents so the roads where block so we were running late. Now the driver of the bmw seems to think that he owns the road. I was in the front of the car and could see all the dodgy driving going on.

It was really ****** down with rain and he kept on saying that if this keeps up we wont be able to fly because of the low cloud level. I was thinking if he keeps this up we wont be flying as we will be all in a body bag

Going along the A27 doing 105 mph and only leaving a five foot gap between cars is not the way to drive about. After narrowly missing a few rear end collisions we finely arrive. At times i thought if driving a bmw does this to you well I'm glad i drive a toyota. He kept saying to me that she goes alright dont you think. It was only a 1.8 3 series. I thought that the engine sounded really trashy and noisy. He had to work the engine really hard to get the best out of the car.

After all the trouble once we got there. The flight tower told us that the clouds where to thick. We needed a 1200ft clearance. The cloud where at 1500ft. So i thought what a result!! well if he drove like that in a car. You can imagine how he would pilot a plane :D

So i spent the rest of the day watching the cars race around the Goodwood circuit. Much better than going up in a paper weight plane dont you think. :D

Hey it would be good to get the toc down there on the circuit. Looks really fast :D

What's the run off area like though....

I really want to get into track days (especially now I have a track car :D :D :D) so not 100% worried but before I hada car I could use on the track one of my biggest concerns is run off space.

As a trackday is all about learning what your car can do and testing your personal limits, slips and spins are bound to happen and if they happen in the wrong place you could do some serious damage to your car.

Donnington has a great deal of run off space on every corner so ideal for learning what you and your car can do...

you want castle coombe, my golf (x2) survived the track, plus they are sensible with the amount of cars on the track at any one time. would recomend a club meet more than a 'nutters' day......
