Warning Lights

hi everyone, got a little problem,

started my car yesterday evening to find the Check Battery warning on the dash,

also the warning light for water being in the fuel filter came on with it

i charged the Battery to see if this worked first, it did not.

i have bled the fuel filter, but the issue is still there, i have ordered a new filter so will fit when it comes.

any ideas on what the issue is ?

car is auris SR180

Have you done a reset on the lights

I had the exact same lights when my alternator started to fail. It was still charging but not at the correct amount.

A new alternator sorted the issue.
