Help With Trim Panel Clip Identification Please.

Hello everyone,

I have a 2013 Iq 2 which is a great little car. I have been trying to fing a very annoying rattle/buzz from the back. In my search I partly removed the interior trim ( the panels with the rear speaker) but despite wrapping all the cables in soft foam the noise still exists.

When putting the panel back the small white clip (close to the speaker) broke. It has a circular top which slides into a slot on the panel, then pushes through the retaining hole. It has disappeared so I can't measure it.

Does anyone know the name/part number etc for this clip? I assume they can be found on eBay etc once the right one is found.

Are there any videos ,or advice on how to remove these panels properly, as I basically just pulled them off, although I bought those little plastic trim remover tools which helped a bit.

Thank you very much for any help you can give.

Colin..

Hi, I pressume it is one of these type of panel clips you are after? http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p2050601.m570.l1313.TR0.TRC0.H0.XIQ+PANEL+CLIP.TRS0&_nkw=IQ+PANEL+CLIP&_sacat=0

I think they tend to be colour coded by size, is there anothe nerarby you can remove to double check the size?

Hi Soeley,

Thanks for that. I have been looking on eBay and it is one of those clips. I will have to find one and check exact size as there are a great many of them.

Colin.
