Auris Hatchback Reclining Front Seat

Hello!

I am interested in the upcoming Scion iM in the US. I know it is adapted from the Auris Hatchback so I hope you can answer my question.

How far back does the front passenger seat recline? Is it almost flat or at least resting on the rear seat cushion?

Thanks!

Sorry about all the typos in the title! :(

Title edited.

The Scion IM is basically a version of the current Corolla/Auris (the name for the Corolla hatchback in Europe) hatchback, and there is a mid-life facelift due in the Summer - which visually will bring the IM and the Corolla/Auris hatchback more into line with each other.

Think with the passenger seat fully forward, the reclined seat back will rest on the forward edge of the rear seat base - it won't be flat as such.

Thanks!

I am Ok with it not being completely flat as long as it reclines far enough to make contact with the rear seat cushion. That should allow for carrying longer items. I am attaching a picture of what would be OK for me.

Anyone own this Corolla/Auris or know of any photos with the seat fully reclined? Will this allow for 8' in length items?

Thanks!
