Drivers Floor Mat Fixing

2009 Auris. One of the two eyelets that the hooks intended to secure the driver's floor mat has pulled away from the main carpet leaving part of the eyelet under the carpet and apparently inaccessible. Before I fit alternative clips that entail cutting into the mats, is there a repair available? I believe a repair kit was made available some years ago for a different model.
