Liteace Oil Sump Pan

Hi, Toyota People!

I am new on here. I own a 1994 Toyota Liteace Van (Diesel) and as I live right by the sea, the oil pan has rusted through. The original part from Toyota is incredibly expensive (I am currently in Germany and the original part alone is 500 Euros) and original Liteace used parts from scrap yards rare as the car is fairly rare, I guess. Searching online has yielded no results other than an online scumbag company that said they had the part, took 40£ off me and then never sent anything!

I know that the same engine and hence the same pan would have been used on other, possibly more common Toyotas of the same year/years. But it seems not easy to find out on which. Can anyone help me? I am assuming it was maybe also used on the Hiace of the same era? Maybe others? And so I live in the hope that I can buy a used oil pan from a more common model and save myself some money.

How many years would the engine/ oil pan have been used for until Toyota introduced a new one? Lots of questions that I can only try to answer myself. I need an expert.

This is, I believe, the model I drive...:

Toyota Liteace Box (-R2__V)

2.0 D (69HP) Diesel

From 01-1992 to 01-1994

Thanks in advance.

Alexandra
